Flying like the Condor at 13,620 feet above sea level...
What a way to travel between La Paz and El Alto, two bustling cities situated side by side high in the Altiplano above the Andean Mountains. It is clear to see how El Alto is situated at a staggering high altitude of 13,620 feet above sea level over the capital of Bolivia La Paz situated at 11,942 feet above sea level. Travelling by cable car is certainly the best choice of travel for these two cities. There is no other quick way, not when you are geographically living in the Altiplano high above the Andean mountains. This form of travelling has certainly been an executed success for Bolivia and it's also made a huge difference to people's daily lives. Travelling by cable car has brought many people from all over the world to experience this amazing birds eye view of La Paz and Mount Illimani at 16,350 feet with it's amazing white capped poncho. This blue route is the fourth one to be in function and the Bolivian government is already in the process of creating three more routes, a total of seven. La Paz already known as the highest capital in the world has the biggest form of transportation flying high above the Altiplano, the cable car. For anyone who treads on Mi Teleferico will certainly fly just like the Condor, a magnificent Andean bird known to fly at high altitudes. Gracias Senor Presidente Evo Morales. Cumplistes con un proyecto espectacular para nuestro pueblo.
